Casaundra is over the moon to be on the mainstage with Kickshaw. She was in Kickshaw's first production as a company, the staged reading The Ohio State Murders. Casaundra has performed on stages across Michigan and the country, including Detroit Repertory Theatre, Alabama Shakespeare Festival and The Purple Rose where she is a Resident Artist. Casaundra has won multiple awards for her work in both Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories. She's also an audiobook narrator and a cultural anthropologist. Her best role however is being a mother to the two people she made, Ian and Sloane. Many thanks to Lynn, Heidi and the entire Kickshaw Team. With endless gratitude to her lovely family especially her Mom and Dad for their constant support.
Daniel A. Helmer (Joe)
Daniel is thrilled to be back with Kickshaw, after making his kickoff with Or,. A Michigan native, Daniel has worked with Michigan Shakespeare Festival, Encore Musical Theatre Company, Penny Seats, and Round Table Theatre Company. Before starting his professional work in Michigan, Daniel finished his Master of Fine Arts degree at East15 Acting School, in London, England. To the present: the moment Daniel read the script of The Ding Dongs, he knew he wanted to be part of such a clever, thought-provoking play. The quick wit and playfulness is endearing, but he’ll leave the rest to you to sort out. (If you need to get his attention after the show, just shout for “Mad Dog” – we had to keep the Dans straight, and this seemed like a reasonable solution.)
Dan Johnson (Redelmo)
Dan is beyond excited to be be joining the fantastic Kickshaw team for The Ding Dongs! Dan has been fortunate enough to work with many theatres in the Southeast Michigan area. When not acting, Dan works at a hospital. Many thanks to Angela, Mom and Dad for their love and support, and thank YOU for supporting live professional Michigan theatre. Enjoy!
