Kickshaw Theatre

Professional Development Training

Artistic Director Lynn Lammers and the Kickshaw Theatre professional company offer workshops to create positive workspaces, engaged employees, and effective teams. We use theatre techniques and exercises to encourage active participation and create memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Training sessions can be tailored to fit your goals, the size of your group, and the space available.

Where? Kickshaw’s Education Team can come to you! We need a room that has plenty of open floor space, is quiet and enclosed, and where we won’t disturb other folks who are working. For an additional fee, Kickshaw can provide a space.

Book us! If you’re interested in providing your employees with a unique, fun team-building experience, you can contact Kickshaw by emailing curious@kickshawtheatre.org or by calling 734-203-0556.

team building

Get your team laughing together using theatre games and exercises. They’ll be having so much fun, they’ll hardly realize that they’re growing skills for better communication and group cohesion. In this workshop series, your team will shed interpersonal barriers and come to know and understand each other more deeply. The result is a workforce that is more connected, collaborative, and efficient.

Lynn was extremely thoughtful in the planning for facilitating of our presentation. She took time to understand the realities of our work, and thoughtfully designed those details into the presentation for our team. Her energy, authenticity, and vulnerability brought out an outcome of raw and real dialogue to the space that I don’t think would have been accomplished without her touch.

Public Speaking

The presentation you’re about to give could be a crucial step forward for your business. Don’t take any chances. Shake your nerves and get out of your head so you can give a pitch, speech, or presentation that will wow. Using theatre games and acting exercises, we will prepare you to be in a state of relaxed readiness so you can nail it. We’ll also give you a chance to rehearse a portion of your speech and receive feedback.

Lynn is a collaborative trainer who has excellent skills in reading the audience, encouraging participation, creating opportunities for growth, and challenging learners to stretch beyond their comfort zones. I have been continually impressed at her ability to lead diverse groups, and create outcomes that are greater than the sum of the parts.
